Omar condemns police, as couple’s vehicle met tragic accident while avoiding arrest
ISLAMABAD: /DNA/ – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan expressed his grief and sorrow over the tragic death of former provincial minister Main Shaukat Laleka and his wife whose vehicle met with a tragic accident when they were changing their location on being informed of the Punjab police raid.
Omar Ayub Khan said: “Deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of PTI leader Mian Shaukat Laleka and his wife who passed away a few days ago.”
PTI Secretary General strongly condemned for unleashing a reign of terror, as the couple were in hiding since long to avoid the police unlawful detention.
Omar Ayub Khan said that they were in the process of changing their location on being informed of a Punjab Police raid on their location when their vehicle met with a tragic accident.
“We condemn these actions of Punjab Police. The Officers of Punjab Police have the blood of many innocent people on their hands,” he added.
“May Allah grant the souls of Mian Shaukat Laleka and his wife the highest place in Jannat ul Firdos, and may Allah Almighty grant their family members the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he prayed.
