PTI announces to open judicial front before Eid
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to open the judicial front before Eid and mass contact after Eid against the government as the party will file a disqualification reference against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with the Election Commission of Pakistan today (Friday).
Yasmin Rashid of PTI, who contested the election against Nawaz Sharif in NA-120, will file the reference against the prime minister. According to PTI Secretary Information Naeemul Haq, the reference will be filed on the basis of the PanamaLeaks under sections 62, 63 of the Constitution. He said that a legal front was being opened now and they would take to the streets after Eid.
He said that a mass contact campaign would be launched through meetings and rallies after Eid. Naeemul Haq said that the Raiwand dharna would be the last option before using other ways in this regard. He further said that all, including ANP, would be on board during this campaign
