PSP leaders, DG Rangers discuss Sindh’s security situation
KARACHI, 14 MAY, (DNA) – Pak Sarzameen Party leaders Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani met Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar on Saturday.
According to sources, the meeting discussed matters pertaining to missing persons and province’s security with special reference to Karachi.
During the meeting, Kamal assured the DG Rangers that his party would play its role for restoration of peace in the metropolitan city.
Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar appreciated the nonviolent politics of PSP, the sources added.
The meeting comes two days after a clash between workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and PSP in Hyderabad that left at least 11 people injured.
The workers of two rival parties locked horns at Haali Road when MQM workers allegedly assaulted PSP rally. MQM’s unit office located in Pinjra Pol area was set on fire by unidentified persons following the clash. =DNA
