PSL 3 trophy to be unveiled in Dubai on Tuesday
LAHORE, FEB 19 (DNA) – The iconic Pakistan Super League (PSL) trophy will go on display in Dubai, UAE, on Tuesday (tomorrow) as wait for the third edition is about to over.
The third season of the Pakistan Super League starts in the United Arab Emirates on February 22. The tournament will move to Pakistan for two play-offs on March 20-21 and the final in Karachi on March 25.
Skippers of the PSL teams will receive the glittering winner’s trophy, which will be brought to Dubai International Stadium through a helicopter.
PSL 2 winner team, Peshawar Zalmi’s skipper Darren Sammy will then carry the trophy to the ceremony.
Owners of the PSL franchises, management and other top officials of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will attend the event.
The opening ceremony for the PSL’s third version will be held on February 22. Later the first match of the tournament will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and debutants Multan Sultans.
