President of Uzbekistan to attend the summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (DNA) — On 14-15 October 2019, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the seventh summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), in Baku.
Heads of the delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, participating as an observer country Hungary and Turkmenistan, will discuss issues aimed at strengthening and expanding multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the Turkic Council.
Joint Statement of the Heads of States of the Turkic Council on the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Organization as a full member will be adopted at the summit.
Following the meeting, it is expected to adopt the Declaration of the seventh summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.
The President of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations attending the meeting.
