Islamabad : President Dr Arif Alvi has approved 90-day remission in jail terms for the convicts on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The president approved reduction in the jail terms of those convicted for different crimes; however, the remission would not be applicable on those involved in the heinous crimes.
