PPP’s Sathi Ishaq joins MQM after 35 affiliations with party
KARACHI, 27 APR, (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sathi Ishaq on Wednesday joined Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
He was given a warm welcome as he reached MQM headquarters Nine-zero to make the announcement.
While addressing the media, MQM Rabita committee’s senior deputy convener Amir Khan stated that “rotten eggs” are leaving the party and those having good fame are joining MQM.
Referring towards Pak Sarzameen Party’s (PSP) public meeting held on Sunday, he added that the rally in Karachi organised by ‘conscience-sellers’ ended up fruitless as the people rejected them.
Khan said that ever since the lot of conscience-sellers supported by the establishment and occult powers surfaced, there has been an increase in the apprehension of the party’s workers and leaders. He added that despite all the allegations and propaganda against MQM, the people still voted for the party in the local bodies elections and the by-elections.
Sathi Ishaq, who remained affiliated with PPP for 35 years, made his announcement of joining MQM during the press conference. =DNA
