PM says enemies unhappy at Pakistan’s progress
QUETTA, June 02 (DNA): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said Tuesday Pakistan’s enemies are not happy with the country’s progress and development and want to weaken it through such incidents.The Prime Minister stated while presiding a high level meeting here this morning which reviewed overall law and order situation in Balochistan, in the backdrop of recent Mastung incident.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government is determined to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country.
He said the government has a strong resolve to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country as operation Zarb-e-Azb is going very well and TDPs are now going back to their homes.
Earlier, Chief Secretary Balochistan briefed the meeting on law and order situation in the province in general and Mastung incident in particular.
On the occasion, the meeting offered fateha for the departed souls of Mastung victims.
Governor Balochistan Mohammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, State Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Mir Jam Kamal, Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch, Senior Provincial Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Commander Southern Command Lt. Gen. Nasir Khan Janjua and IG Frontier Corps, Balochistan Police attended the meeting. DNA
