PM Nawaz to send pair of bull and cow to Qatar on C-130 aircraft

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (DNA): A C-130 aircraft will be operating from Lahore to Qatar on February 28 to deliver a pair of bull & cow (Sahiwal breed) as a gift from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Emir of State of Qatar.According to sources, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) will bear all the expenditures.The aircraft will return to Pakistan on 29th of February.
The move comes few days after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned from Doha after signing a long-term deal with Qatar to import liquefied natural gas.
The deal will see Qatar export up to 3.75 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas a year.
Pakistan currently faces a severe shortage of natural gas, both for its electricity generation and industrial use.
The deal was signed on the first day of two-day visit to Qatar by Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
