ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned an important meeting of federal cabinet on Monday. The premier will review the performance of federal ministers on an individual level and is likely to change their portfolios.

Sources say that the prime minister is discontent with the performance of a few ministers. Murad Saeed is likely to be appointed Federal Minister for Communication.

The PM is irate from the unnecessary statements of a few ministers and performance of one belonging to allied party. Some ministers will likely undergo inquiry from the premier.

PM Khan likely to change portfolios of few ministers, claims sources

Earlier, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid claimed that the premier had asked him to join the information ministry.

Referring to Fawad Chaudhry who is currently on London tour, Rashid asserted, “He has been enjoying picnic in London for eight days. I have asked him to return.”

After the news aired on media, Rashid clarified his stance saying that Fawad Chaudhry is like his brother and he can never think of taking his position. He maintained that the picnic statement was said on a lighter note.
