PM assured me of cooperation for better Sindh: Murad Ali Shah

ISLAMABAD, August 05 (DNA): Freshly appointed Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured him of cooperation for betterment of Sindh during the first ever one-on-one meeting between the two.
The Chief Minister held a press conference in Islamabad after meeting the premier.
Shah said that Rangers issue regarding department’s policing powers was solved in the meeting.
While answering a question, Shah said that late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had said that politics is the paradise of the people.
Corruption should be eradicated at all cost, he said adding that he recommended the Prime Minister to add two more projects in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He quoted premier’s reply that the recommendation would be considered in a positive fashion.
Secretary Water and Power was ordered by the premier to clear all reservations of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
While briefing the media on his meeting, Shah said that there would be no compromise over Sindh’s rights and he would attempt to establish good terms with the federation.
He announced that cabinet would be increased soon in the near future.
While talking about Sindh’s issues and government’s determination he said that the province has abundant resources while challenges aren’t any lesser.
But, he said that the government has enough time to right the wrong in the province.
Action would be taken against criminals irrespective of their affiliation with any political party, he said. DNA
