Peace in South Asia imperative for peace in world: Rashid

BHIMBER, 11 JAN (DNA) – Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says peace in South Asia is imperative for peace in the world.
Addressing a PML-N youth convention in Bhimber Monday, the Information Minister said peace in the region is linked to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He said resolving the Kashmir dispute is the top priority of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to remove sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
Pervaiz Rashid said PML-N accepted the mandate of PPP in Azad Kashmir and adopted the policy of non-interference, but it is high time to hold the party accountable through ballot. He hoped the people of Azad Kashmir will vote for PML-N and reject corruption and bad governance.
Addressing the PML-N workers, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Barjees Tahir announced to establish an agriculture university in Bhimber, set-up a passport office, and open a cardiology unit in DHQ Bhimber. He said Kashmir Expressway will be extended from Mangla to Barnala and a ring road will also be constructed in the city. DNA
