Panama JIT to hold third meeting today
ISLAMABAD, MAY 10, (DNA) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Panama case will hold its third meeting at Judicial Academy today (Wednesday).
In yesterday’s meeting the JIT decided that it will directly question Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the affidavit of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Headed by FIA additional Director General Wajid Zia, the committee Tuesday reviewed Ishaq Dar’s statement in connection with Hudaibia Paper Mills in today’s meeting held at Judicial Academy and will issue notices to Prime Minister and children after proper scrutiny.
According to Samaa correspondent, the committee will submit its first report on May 21 to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director Irfan Mangi could not attend the JIT’s second meeting held today as he is abroad. He is expected to arrive back today.
