Panama Case: JIT to submit report in SC on Tuesday
ISLAMABAD, JUN 05 (DNA) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) responsible for investigating Sharif family’s offshore assets, will submit its report in the apex court on Tuesday after reviewing the documents submitted by premier’s sons Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz.
FIA Additional Director General Wajid Zia will chair the JIT session on Monday at the judicial academy in Islamabad.
As per details, JIT will compile a comprehensive report keeping in consideration the investigation process and the documents submitted by prime minister’s sons. The report will be submitted in Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday.
Hussain Nawaz has appeared four times before the JIT while Hassan Nawaz has appeared for once.
“I had spent 14 months in jail during Musharraf’s era but no wrongdoing was proved due to lack of evidence,” Hussain apprised media at the judicial academy.
On the other hand, State minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has expressed concerns on Sunday over Hussain Nawaz’s Joint Investigation Team (JIT) picture leaked on social media.While talking to the media, the state minister declared the leak an extraordinary activity.=DNA
