Work of Pakistani calligrapher exhibited in Paris made an impression

PARIS (DNA) – The work of Pakistani calligrapher Mr. Khalid Mahmood Siddiqui exhibited in a local art gallery in Paris, France was greatly appreciated by the French art lovers and general public who visited the exhibition in large number.

The six day exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque in Paris, today.

While speaking at the inaugural ceremony the Ambassador said that calligraphy is an intrinsic part as Islamic art and is also practiced in different cultures around the world.

The Ambassador praised the innovative and original work of Mr. Siddiqui which would certainly help introducing Pakistan’s art of calligraphy in France.

Mr. Khalid Mahmood Siddiqui is a Pakistani Calligrapher son of Famous calligrapher Mr. Mahmoodullah Siddiqui. He started practicing and learning traditional calligraphy along with his formal education. He has participated in many group exhibitions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Large number of French art lovers, diplomats, intellectuals, public figures and journalists witnessed the exhibition and appreciated his work.
