Pakistan-Saudi Arabia desirous of global peace’

KARACHI, 19 DEC (DNA) – The passing out parade of 104th Midshipmen Commissioning and 13th SSC course of Pakistan Navy was held in Karachi on Saturday.
Vice Admiral of Saudi Naval Forces Abdullah Al Sultan was the chief guest. Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah was also present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, the Saudi Vice Admiral said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have unanimity of views on regional and international issues.
He said the two countries are desirous of global peace and stability. They are committed to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the region. He said eradication of terrorism will bring progress and prosperity to the region.
Abdullah Sultan said cooperation between the naval forces of the two countries will be further strengthened through joint exercises and other steps. Appreciating the training standard at PN Academy, the Saudi Vice Admiral said he himself got training from the same academy.
Earlier, the Saudi Vice Admiral and Pakistan’s naval chief jointly inspected the parade. A total of eighty-eight cadets, including twenty-two foreigners and two women passed out in the ceremony.
Pakistan Navy is providing training to cadets of ten countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Libya, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Turkmenistan. DNA
