ISLAMABAD – At least three people including two students were killed and 15 other sustained injuries when two vans collided with each other in Tehsil Phalia of Mandi Bahauddin on Saturday morning.

The college van was carrying students when a speeding oncoming bus rammed into it near Mano Chowk, resulting instant death of college bus driver alongside two students.

Rescue officials said the incident occurred due to low visibility in the wake of fog.

The injured were immediately moved to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital,Phalia. Nine injured persons were shifted to hospitals in Lahore and Gujrat due to their critical condition. Police have registered a case.
