Pakistan govt to hand over evidence of Badaber incident to Afghan govt
ISLAMABAD, Sept 21 (DNA): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has chaired a meeting of national security on Monday in which he reviewed implementation on National Action Plan and made decision to hand over evidence of Badaber attack to Afghan government.In the meeting it was decided that Pak-Afghan border surveillance should be made more efficient. The National Action Plan, security situation of the country and Pak-Afghan relations were reviewed.
Security officials gave briefing on Peshawar incident during the meeting after which it was decided to share theevidence of attack on Badaber PAF camp incident with Afghan authorities.
It was demanded during the meeting that Afghan leadership take effective action against terrorists present on its soil.
The meeting was attended by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, DG Military Intelligence Major General Nadeem Zaki, Director General Military Operations, DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa, Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
