Pakistan FO’s reservations on new Qatar ambassador’s nomination
ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (DNA) –Appointment of new Qatri ambassador to Pakistan has been delayed because Pakistani side has not yet gave green signal to the Qatri side.
According to details the new Qatar ambassador Mohammad Al thani who hailed from the Royal family of Qatar was nominated few months ago however he could not assume his duties due to Pakistan Foreign Office’s reluctance.
Diplomatic sources claim the Pakistan Foreign Ministry has submitted its reservations to the Qatari Foreign Ministry however Qatar foreign ministry still wants to appoint the member of the Royal family as ambassador.
Saqr bin Mubarak therefore shall continue in his position until Qatar decides to meet the reservations of Pakistan or nominates another Qatari ambassador.=DNA
