ISLAMABAD, 27 JAN (DNA) – President Mamnoon Hussain Wednesday said that armed forces of Pakistan and the nation are fully capable to thwart any internal and external threat to the country. Addressing convocation at NUST in Islamabad, he said the government and the nation are committed to continue efforts till elimination of terrorism.

 The President said Pakistan has been successful to eliminate the scourge of terrorism to a great extent. Speaking about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, he assured that its route will not be changed at any cost.

On the occasion he also told participants that Pakistan has improved its grading at corruption and it was only SAARC country score better in this regard according to figures of transparency international. The development was a result of government’s policies and cooperation of public, he said. DNA
