Pakistan, Bahrain to hold 3rd joint ministerial commission as Bahraini FM Arrives
ISLAMABAD, OCT 7 /DNA/ – Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, arrives in Pakistan today for a two-day official visit aimed at deepening bilateral ties, the Foreign Office said.
At the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the Bahraini foreign minister will undertake the visit from October 7 to 8, 2026.
The centerpiece of the visit will be the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), to be co-chaired by Dar and Al Zayani.
According to the Foreign Office, the two sides will review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and explore avenues to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, economic cooperation, defence and security, labour and manpower, and cultural exchanges.
The two foreign ministers will also exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest, as well as cooperation at multilateral forums.
Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy close, brotherly relations rooted in shared faith, common values, mutual respect, and longstanding people-to-people links. The two countries maintain regular high-level exchanges and close cooperation across a wide range of areas.
The Foreign Office said the visit reflects the strong momentum in Pakistan–Bahrain relations and the shared commitment of both countries to further deepen bilateral cooperation and advance mutually beneficial ties.
