ISLAMABAD, OCT 18 (DNA) – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited research proposals for mobility grant from faculty members of public and HEC-approved private universities in Pakistan for research funding under the Pak-French PERIDOT research programme.
PERIDOT is a Pak-French Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) which had been providing opportunities to researchers from both the countries to interact with each other for joint research activities.
The HEC Research and Development Division Assistant Director Rehan Jamil said that the programme was being implemented by the HEC in Pakistan, and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) in France.
The objective of this programme, titled ‘Exploring possibilities of linkage between Pak-French researchers’, was to develop new scientific and technological cooperation between higher education institutions and researchers belonging to both the countries by supporting the mobility of researchers from both sides.
