ISLAMABAD, (DNA) The Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah has finalsed two names for the caretaker  prime minister and sent them to the prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

The Opposition leader has recommended Zaka Ashraf and former Pakistan Ambassador of US Jalil Abbas Jilani as caretaker prime minister.

Zaka Ashraf is die-hard PPP man and is considered very close to former President Asif Ali Zardari. He has held many important positions during PPP government including head of agriculture bank of Pakistan and Pakistan Cricket Board.

Being a staunch  PPP worker his neutrality may be questioned therefore he may not  a first choice of other opposition parties or for that matter the government.

Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jillani is veteran diplomat, a former Foreign Secretary of Pakistan and former Pakistan ambassador of the United States. Jillani is younger brother of Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jillani the former Chief Justice of Pakistan. PPP wanted to nominate Justice Tassadaq but he politely declined therefore his younger brother was considered. =DNA
