One killed, two injured in Swat blast
SWAT, OCT 02 (DNA) – At least one person was killed and two members of the Village Defence Council (VDC) were critically injured when a remote-controlled bomb went off in Swat’s Malam Jabba area on Monday.
Myasher, father of VDC head Ahmadzeb was killed on the spot while his other son received injuries as a remote-controlled bomb exploded in Sar Teligram area, DPO Muhammad Ejaz told. Ahmadzeb himself was not present at the location.
Police have cordoned off the area and started an investigation. Another person who was injured in the incident has been identified as Mehran.
