ISLAMABAD, MAY 11 (DNA) – The academic, social and parliamentary circles have greeted reputed constitutional expert, Zafarullah Khan as appointment of Executive Director of Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS).

He was appointed by Board of Governors of PIPS in Islamabad on Tuesday that was held with the agenda of appointment of Executive Director of Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS).

After rigorous interviews and transparent, merit based mechanism by the Board chaired by Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq  Zafarullah Khan was finally appointed as the new Executive Director of the PIPS among the shortlisted candidates. Mr. Zafarullah Khan is renowned expert on constitutional and parliamentary affairs.

He has written a number of books, reports  and articles at national, regional and international levels over the civic education,  parliamentary democracy,  constitutionalism, federalism and  fundamental rights.

 Recently, his book on fundamental rights has been published by senate of Pakistan. He has also been invited as speaker at civil service academy, universities, national & international conferences   and other forums. He has also been honored to represent Pakistan in more than one dozen countries.  =DNA
