Nawaz Sharif returns to Pakistan from London
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 25 (DNA) – Former Prime Minister Nawaz arrived in Islamabad from London on Monday via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) PK-786.
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Railway Minister Saad Rafique, Anushay Rehman, Khurram Dastagir, Talal Chaudhry and Islamabad mayor Ansar Aziz received Nawaz Sharif on the airport.
Nawaz Sharif later reached Punjab House amid strict security arrangements. He will appear before accountability court tomorrow.
The ousted PM went to UK a month ago to visit his wife Kulsoom Nawaz, who is under-treatment for cancer. Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar are also expected to return soon.
