LAHORE, Sep 28 (DNA): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and
former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has called an important
online meeting of the party after his brother, and party President.

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Mian Shehbaz Sharif
was arrested by NAB in Lahore after cancellation of his bail in assets
beyond means and money laundering case on Monday.

According to sources, after the arrest of PML-N President, Nawaz Sharif
has been in contact with several party leaders and now, in view of the
situation, called an important online meeting.

Maryam Nawaz is likely to be given the charge of the protest that PML-N
plans to launch after the meeting. Other party affairs will be handled
by prominent leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal.

Moreover, Nawaz Sharif has also directed his daughter Maryam to hold a
press conference immediately. She is said to hold a press conference at
the party’s Model Town Secretariat later today.

The party’s central leadership is also present in Model Town, holding
important consultations after the arrest of Shahbaz Sharif. DNA
