Nawaz Sharif accepted bribe to topple PPP govt: Imran Khan

LAHORE, Oct 09 (DNA): Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) ImranKhan has on Friday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accepted bribe from former al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden to topple Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s government in 90s. He said that Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed is
witness to it that Nawaz Sharif took money from Gulf countries for election. Addressing PTI public meeting at Qurtaba Chowk in Lahore, Imran Khansaid that the sun is setting on Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz
(PML-N). He said that the government thought they would easily win
NA-122 election but PTI unleashed its secret weapon. “Aleem Khan was
alleged of land-grabbing but entire PML-N is full of land-grabbers”,
said Imran.
Imran Khan said that PML-N cannot win without rigging. He told the
workers to do everything in order to stop rigging in NA-122 on October
11. Criticizing Nawaz Sharif, Chairman PTI said that PM makes his
cabinet members to attack him. “Everything that I have is in Pakistan.
I won’t run like Nawaz Sharif to Jeddah”, said Khan.
He said that the people of Pakistan know him for the last 40 years.
“Pakistanis know me since I raised Pakistan’s flag in the grounds of
Cricket”, said Imran. He said that General Durrani gave affidavit in
the court that he gave Nawaz Sharif Rs. 3.5 million to topple
Benazir’s government. “I have everything in Pakistan and give tax on
every penny I have. My money is not outside Pakistan like that of
Nawaz Sharif”, said Chairman PTI.
Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on this occasion that
there were fake umpires and referees during 2013 elections. He said
that Imran Khan took the process of accountability through the sit-in.
He said that the workers won’t let any rigging happen this time. “This
war is between two ideologies. Lahore will decide on October 11 just
like it had decided in 1940”, said Qureshi.
PTI candidate from NA-122 Abdul Aleem Khan said that he is being
called a grabber because he has grabbed the hearts of people. He said
that PML-N candidate Ayaz Sadiq never did anything for the area.
He said that he got the roads and streets constructed in this area and
all the development were done during his era. He said that the people
of NA-122 are shutting their doors at Ayaz Sadiq now.
AML leader Sheikh Rasheed said on this occasion that Aleem Khan is
contesting against all the institutions of Punjab in NA-122. He said
that Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid called Imran Khan as traitor
on Thursday but Imran Khan will hold everyone accountable when he
comes to power.
Women workers of PTI were also present at the public meeting in large
numbers. They started filling the venue in the afternoon and their
passion was a spectacle till the evening.
Wearing PTI’s party colors, these women had painted their faces Green
and Red. Hoisting the party flags and making victory signs with their
fingers, workers of PTI loved their leader’s speech. The public
meeting was attended by Sikh community as well and many were seen
taking selfies at the venue. NNI

CPEC will bring prosperity to the country: Ayaz
LAHORE, Oct 09 (NNI): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate and
former Speaker National Assemby Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that due to
successful policies of PML (N) Government, economy is progressing.
Addressing the public meeting, He said that China Pakistan Economic
Corridor, after its completion, will bring prosperity to the country.
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique urged the voters to come out of
their homes to make Sardar Ayaz Sadiq successful.
He said that the country is facing grave challenges like terrorism and
power crisis, but the PTI always remains engaged in attempts to
destabilize the government.
In his address, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif expressed hope that Sardar Ayaz
Sadiq will again emerge victorious on Sunday.
He said that the new Pakistan will be made by PML (N) Government,
under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
