ISLAMABAD, 26 JUNE, (DNA) – The last Ashra of Ramzan commemces on Sunday evening with a large number of faithfuls opting for Ihtikaf, men mostly at mosques and women inside home premises.
The last ten days of Ramazan or the third Ashra are considered superior and important as the Lailatul Qadar falls in the last Ashra.
The odd nights of the Ashra – i.e. 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th are considered as prayers-nights as Muslims have been otdained to search Lailatul Qadar in these nights.
The holy month of Ramazan is divided into three parts, first Ashra is “Mercy of Allah”, second ashara is “Forgiveness of Allah” and the third one is “Salvation”.
The Holy Quran was revealed in the month of Ramzan and it is a source of true guidance for all mankind.
The month of Ramzan also fulfills and ensures blessings, Noor, Barkats, prayers and forgiveness of Allah to people.
And the last ten days are especially called for seeking Mercy of Almighty Allah.
The Duas for third Ashra is: “O Allah! Save me from the fire.” =DNA
