KARACHI, MAY 06, (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Manzoor Wassan has predicted that month of July will be dangerous for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as key decisions are being anticipated in the said month.

Talking to media at Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Sukkur, Wassan claimed that Nawaz Sharif may be de-seated and would be replaced by someone else in July.

“Some people will remain on seat while other would be displaced,” articulated the senior PPP leader.

Wassan said that real contest would be between PPP and PML-N in the upcoming polls and PPP will win it.

“Meetings as such with Sajjan Jindal increase suspicions. We want democracy to run smoothly. During our reign, Shehbaz Sharif had staged several sit-ins”, pronounced Wassan.

After the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Panama Papers case, opposition party lawmakers have demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down during the investigation into his finances.

Last month, the Supreme Court ruled there was insufficient evidence to order Sharif’s removal from office but called for further investigation into corruption allegations in connection with the so-called Panama Papers leaks.

The Supreme Court, in its 549-page judgment, ordered a joint investigation team be formed to look into allegations around three of Sharif’s four children using offshore companies to buy properties in London.

The investigating team has two months to complete its inquiry, after which a special bench will decide what action to take, the court said.

The prime minister and his children deny any wrongdoing.=DNA
