Kyrgyz envoy says quadrilateral traffic route an important step
PESHAWAR, SEPT 14 (DNA) – Erik Beishembiev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan participated in the International Conference on «Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Trans-regional Integration» organized by University of Peshawar and Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS).
The conference was held with participation of representatives of the Ministries and Agencies of Pakistan, Ambassadors of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Diplomats from Russian and Iranian Embassies, Experts, Students and Mass Media.
The Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic noted in his speech “Quadrilateral Traffic in Transit Agreement (QTTA)” between Pakistan, China, Kyrgyzstan & Kazakhstan, the short automobile route from Central Asia through border points of Kyrgyzstan to China and further to the sea ports of Pakistan.
Memorandum of understanding was signed between Kyrgyz State University and University of Peshawar during conference.=DNA
