Kulsoom’s death: Politicians including Bilawal, Zardari reach Jati Umra for condolences
LAHORE, (DNA) – Prominent politicians are reaching Jati Umra to pay their condolences with Sharif family over the death of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
According to details, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujat and Monis Elahi arrived at the Sharif residence and expressed their grief over the demise of former first lady.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and ex-president Asif Ali Zardari also met Nawaz Sharif and prayed for the peace of departed soul.
It is to be mentioned here that Rasm-e-Qul for the benefit of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will be offered today from Asr to Maghrib.
Former Punjab CM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif appealed those who wished to participate in the Rasm-e-Qul for late former first lady to organise Quran Khawani and Dua (prayers) in their respected areas.
The PML-N president also thanked political leaders, party workers and people for attending the funeral prayers of his late sister-in-law.
