SCO Secretary General hails Nizami Ganjavi International Center’s efforts to contribute to intercultural dialogue
BAKU, (DNA) – Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Rashid Alimov has commended the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) for its efforts to contribute to the intercultural dialogue
as he met with representatives of the center. Alimov said he closely follows the center`s activities.
Representatives of NGIC highlighted the center`s large-scale projects aimed at contributing to peace and security worldwide.
The NGIC delegation also held meetings at the Chinese Institute of Foreign Affairs where cooperation prospects were discussed.
As part of the trip, members of the center – former President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic, Deputy Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FM Zlatko Lagumdzija, former President of Albania Bujar Nishani and former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jomart Otorbayev attended the 2nd Taihe International Forum of Civilizations (TCF).
SCO Secretary General Rashid Alimov delivered a speech at the forum.
