Korea to extend support for flood affectees

ISLAMABAD: The Republic of Korea will extend every possible assistance to Pakistan for rehabilitation of flood affected people.
It was assured by the Ambassador of Korea , Jong Hwan Song during a meeting with Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan in Islamabad .
The Minister informed him that over 51 people have been died and more than 1600 houses damaged in floods in various parts of the country so far.
Besides it, more than 600 cattle heads have been washed away and standing crops over 2,33,000 acres of land have been destroyed completely.
Speaking on this occasion, the Korean Ambassador vowed to boost bilateral ties with Pakistan in disaster management, weather forecasting, agriculture, water and energy sectors.
