Karachi Kings’ owner Mr Salman recalls crunch moments from PSL 5 final
Karachi : PSL 5 Champions – Karachi Kings’ owner Mr. Salman Iqbal shared Wasim Akram and skipper Imad Wasim stopped him from celebrating during the all-important final.
Speaking in ARY News’ show ’11th Hour’, Mr Salman said he was satisfied with bowling performance after Lahore Qalandars was restricted to 134-7.
“We aimed to restrict Qalandars to a lower total and I was satisfied with the bowling performance,” he said. “Imad, Amir, Babar, and Wasim were not allowing me to celebrate. They asked me to wait until we win but I was so excited. I asked Wasim next to me that what to give players after winning but Imad came to me and said not to think anything before we win,” he shared.
It must be noted here that the Kings were crowned PSL 5 champion after defeating Qalandars by 5 wickets in the final here at National Stadium on Tuesday.
