ISLAMABAD(DNA)- Govt and opposition have decided to appointed Jusitce Javed Iqbal as new NAB chairman. The incumbent NAB chief will step down on October 10 after completing his term.

Javed Iqbal had served as senior judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan from 2004 to 2011. He also headed the famous Abbottabad Commission and prepared a report also.

The Abbottabad Commission investigated the presence of Osma Bin Laden  in Pakistan. The Commissioner also figured who whether Osma was in Pakistan or not. and If he was in Pakistan then who was responsible for that.

However as per our traditions, the Commission report has not yet been published because analysts say the report may contain certain information holding certain elements within the establishment responsible for hiding OBL.
