Islamabad police arrested eight outlaws
ISLAMABAD, 26 JAN (DNA) – Islamabad Police have arrested eight outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered snatched cash, wine, hashish as well as weapons from them, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Sihala police arrested two accused Khuram Iqbal, Waqas and recovered snatched cash as well as two pistols along with ammunition from their possession.
Industrial-Area police arrested Zahid and recovered 1540 cans of beer from him.Karachi Company police arrested Rafaqat and recovered 10 liter wine from him. Anti-car lifting cell of Islamabad police apprehended accuse Qudrat-Ullah and recovered 500 gram hashish from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested Rahim Baz and recovered 400 gram hashish from him.
Khana police arrested Abid for having 210 gram hashish while Lohibher police nabbed Irfan in possession of 30 bore pistol and one wine bottle. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile 28 professional alm-seekers were also arrested and action has been initiated against them
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements. DNA
