ATTOCK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Punjab and Former
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, while checking
arrangements at Attock District Council Stadium, said the public rally
addressed by Imran Khan on May 12 in Attock will be historic and will
open eyes for those who have hatched conspiracies against the
leadership of the PTI. He visited the spot to review arrangements
ahead of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s visit scheduled

Member of National Assembly (MNA) Maj (R) Tahir Sadiq, Former SAPM
climate change Malik Amin Aslam, Former provincial minister Syed Yawar
Abbas Bukhari, Member Punjab Assembly Jamshaid Altaf and PTI leader
Malik Khurram Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.

Shafqat Mehmood said the government had failed to deliver any results
during the last three months and people had rejected it. People are
angry at what was done in Pakistan against an elected prime minister
and now those who looted billions are sitting on the treasury benches.

He regretted that the horse trade was at its peak and said transparent
elections were the only solution and alleged that the chief electoral
commissioner was controversial and should be removed. He condemned
de-notification by the federal government of Punjab governor Omar
Sarfraz.

Shafqat Mehmood, while talking about the impeachment of the Governor
of Punjab, said that only the President has the authority in this
context. He said that in the next election, the Attock District PTI
candidates will wipe the slate clean.
