NEWYORK: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has commended cooperation between the United States and China on sustainable finance under the Group of 20.

In an interview with a Chinese news agency, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said the two largest economies cooperating on sustainable finance is a very positive step in a world that is undergoing transformation because of climate risks.
