Hyderabad-Karachi Motorway to be completed by 2017: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the Federal Government is assisting the Sindh Government for completion of mega development projects.
Speaking in the National Assembly on Tuesday, he said the government has earmarked five billion rupees for Green Line Transport System in Karachi. He said this is a mega project and is expected to be completed at a cost of 20 to 25 billion rupees. He said the federal government will fully fund this project.
He said work on Hyderabad-Karachi Motorway has also been started and it will be completed by 2017.
The Prime Minister said the government is also launching a mega project to connect Gwadar Port with the Central Asian States and then to the Western route of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor.
