HR Ministry, Child protection cneter hold free eye camp
Islamabad: National Child Protection Centre Islamabad, Ministry of Human Rights in collaboration with Pakistan Institute for Rehabilitation Centre, ISRA University holds a second free eye camp for street children, enrolled in non formal section of NCPC. Expert doctors had a thorough and proper eye check up of total 78 street children and free eye sight glasses were provided to 15 street children, who were identified with low vision.
These children belong to the needy families residing in Kachi Abadies of Sector I-9 and I-10, Islamabad. The Centre, along with other activities of child protection, is also providing pick and drop services to the street children for Non-Formal Education on daily basis and further mainstreaming in government / non government educational institutions. Ministry of Human Rights aims to ensure to provide fundamental human rights to these under privileged street children.
