Govt has achieved target of durable development: PM
ISLAMABAD, 31 MAR (DNA) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the government has achieved the target of durable development and delay in completion of projects will not be tolerated.
He was talking during a briefing at Planning Commission Division in Islamabad on Thursday. The Prime Minister stressed for maintaining standard and transparency in developmental projects of infrastructure and basic facilities.
He said the Government has doubled the development budget during the last three years. Nawaz Sharif said implementation of power and basic infrastructure projects is priority of the Government.
The Prime Minister said investment and economic development is directly linked with these projects. Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal briefed the Prime Minster about progress on developmental projects. DNA
