Genuine concerns over women protection bill to be addressed: PM

LAHORE, 14 MAR (DNA) – Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islam-F Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Monday and discussed Women Protection Bill.Later, talking to media, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that the Prime Minister has assured him to address the reservations of the Islamic scholars on the Women Protection Bill, recently adopted by the Punjab Assembly.He said during the meeting he apprised the prime minister in detail about his reservations on the bill.He said the Prime Minister directed the concerned review committee to resolve matter at the earliest.
