FWO plays vital role in nation building efforts: COAS
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Monday that Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has played a central role in spearheading the army’s contribution in all nation building efforts.
The army chief was attending the golden jubilee celebrations of FWO.
COAS General Raheel Sharif vowed that the Pakistan Army will continue working for the security and prosperity of the country.
He added that Frontier Works Organisation has developed into a strategic organisation with tremendous capability to deliver projects of national significance.

The chief of army staff also congratulated the FWO on the occasion and said that highest quality of work in the least amount of time has been the hallmark of the organisation.
The COAS also paid tribute to the 1,300 officers and men of Frontier Works Organisation for laying down their lives during execution of various national projects since the organisation’s was formed in 1966.
