Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss strengthening cooperation
TASHKENT, AUG 24 (DNA) -Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, within the framework of the meeting in the “C5+1” format in Nur-Sultan, held talks with the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, the MFA press service said.
At the beginning of the talks, Kamilov congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on the productive results of the meeting between the heads of CA foreign affairs agencies and the USA.
The ministers discussed the practical implementation of agreements at the highest and other levels reached within the framework of the Uzbek-Kazakh contacts, exchanged views on priority areas for further strengthening of multifaceted cooperation.
It was emphasized that each event, within the framework of the ongoing “Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan”, is very successful and becomes a clear evidence of friendship ties between the parties.
At the meeting, the sides confirmed their interest in successfully holding the upcoming CA Heads of State Consultative Meeting in Tashkent.=DNA
