Fool proof security arrangements in place ahead of Rohingya rally in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 08 (DNA) – A mass protest is scheduled to be held later during the day by the religious organisations, students and members of the civil society in Aabpara. The demonstration has been organised against the persecution of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
All entry routes into the Red Zone in Islamabad have been blocked to prevent the rally participants from entering into the Red Zone.
As many as 7,500 security personnel have been deployed to ensure foolproof security during the rally.
Islamabad Traffic Police have also come up with a route plan to make sure that the traffic flow in twin cities is not disrupted.
