Fazal-ur-Rehman’s Azadi March challenged in IHC

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman’s Azadi March has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), on Monday.
The petition has been filed by a citizen requesting the high court to stop Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman from staging a sit-in in the federal capital.
The plaintiff has made Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, interior secretary, education secretary, Islamabad deputy commissioner and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) chairman as respondents.
Let it be known that the IHC and the Supreme Court had earlier directed to stage the sit-in the specified areas.
