Ex-DIG Naeem Kakar shot dead in Quetta
QUETTA, (DNA) – Some unidentified armed assailants on Saturday shot dead former deputy inspector general of police Naeem Kakar in the provincial capital.
As per the details, Naeem Kakar was heading towards his house after saying prayer when some unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened firing, resultantly, the ex-cop sustained critical injuries.
He was rushed to local hospital for medical assistance where he succumbed to his wounds.
Following the incident, police reached the spot and cordoned off the area. Police have launched a search operation for the arrest of culprits.
