CJP visits PKLI, UCH hospitals in Lahore
LAHORE (DNA) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday visited Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center and United Christian Hospital in Lahore.
The CJP visited Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI) after conducting hearing of important cases at Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry.
After visiting PKLI, Justice Nisar reached United Christian Hospital (UCH) located in Gulberg where he visited various wards.
Dozens of pests including rats have been found in UCH hospital’s maternity wards, while poor cleanliness was also observed in gynae ward.
The CJP while presiding over a meeting of the board members at the UCH formed a five member committee. The committee will submit its recommendations till Monday.
Justice Saqib Nisar also summoned record of cases pertaining to occupation of UCH’s land.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he would talk to people for donations.
