LAHORE, SEPT 21 (DNA) – Newly appointed Lahore US Consul General Elizabeth Kennedy Trudeau on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Railways Headquarters, Lahore, where she met Pakistan Railways (PR) CEO Muhammad Javed Anwar.

The consul general, while talking to the CEO, said that the experience of   American companies of working with Pakistan Railways was wonderful and she hoped for its continuity in the future.

“US companies believe that there are a lot of opportunities and room to work with Pakistan railways as it has expertise, educated workforce and dedication that attracts international companies” she said.

During the meeting, CEO Javed Anwar said that PR had procured 55 state-of-the-art locomotives and will procure 20 more very soon.
